In the resort of St Julian’s, Hotel Juliani (12 St George’s Road, www.hoteljuliani.com, 2137 7888), situated in the heart of Spinola Bay, is a four-star hotel with sea views and two restaurants. Set to open in early 2006, Le Méridien St Julian’s (www.lemeridien.com) will be a 282-room, five-star hotel built in the grounds of an 18th-century villa, on Balluta Bay.
